Research Education Core Overview
The ASCENT Research Education Core (REC) strengthens the palliative care research workforce by funding, training, and supporting early-career investigators committed to improving care for people living with serious illness and their caregivers through research. REC addresses critical gaps in training and mentorship by providing career development awards, advanced research methodology education, and community-building opportunities to foster collaboration and leadership in palliative care research.
