Measurement Core Overview
The ASCENT Measurement Core provides leadership in advancing measurement science for palliative care research. The Measurement Core supports the development, harmonization, and implementation of reliable and valid measures to evaluate outcomes and mechanisms of palliative care interventions.
Palliative care research requires measures that capture outcomes, experiences, and care that matter to people with serious illness and their care partners. The Measurement Core supports palliative care investigators in selecting the best available measures and leveraging innovative and rigorous measurement methods.
Core Goals
